Scope
Oto features use files such as profile photos, child and pickup photos, knowledge documents, employment documents, signatures, receipts, wristbands, vouchers, and transaction exports.
Design
Users can upload, view, download, replace, or remove files where the associated workflow allows it. Generated documents and output remain associated with the records that produced them.
Failure handling
A file that cannot be accepted, opened, generated, or removed shows the problem in the associated workflow without presenting the action as complete.
Requirements
- Support the upload, viewing, download, replacement, and removal actions required by each source workflow.
- Keep generated documents and output associated with their source records.
Verification
- Test the user-visible file actions and failure states required by each applicable workflow.
