Scope
Oto provides the searches, reports, reconciliation views, and exports required by people, employment, events, POS, wallets, stock, occupancy, and other documented workflows.
Design
A user selects the permitted scope, period, filters, or record type and reviews matching records, totals, exceptions, or exported data. Historical reports continue to show the values recorded for the selected period.
Failure handling
If records are missing or unresolved, the report or export identifies the exception rather than presenting an incomplete total as complete.
Requirements
- Provide the searches, filters, reports, reconciliation views, and exports required by the source workflows.
- Reports show missing or unresolved records instead of silently omitting them.
- Exports contain the information shown for the selected scope and period.
Verification
- Test each source-required search, report, reconciliation view, and export against its displayed source records.
- Test that users see only records within their permitted scope.
